Fischtempel in Travemuende

We were here at the beginning of September and bought fish rolls almost every day and we can say "here you can get the best fish rolls in Travemünde at normal prices".

From the outside, like a harbor shack, but the food is a dream. There was plaice miller kind with potato salad with apple pieces. Really great and I didn't expect that at first.

Good food and friendly service. There were mussels outside the menu and since we were still undecided, the offer to take half a portion as a starter came straight away. We were completely satisfied and it was a nice evening.

The food was okay, a little too little for the price. The service, on the other hand, as already described here: the lady with a migration background does her job great, but the other lady has definitely missed her job.

I think the quality of the food and the atmosphere at the fishing port are great. Here the price and performance are still right and the staff is also great. Parking spaces nearby are currently free of charge. Great view of the harbor. The arrival and departure of the Ro Ro ferries is nice to watch! See you next time! 👍

Unfortunately not my thing. In Corona times, the tables should be cleaned a little more carefully and not only when the guest is already at the table and the leftovers land on his lap. We are also not particularly fond of lipstick on the glass and a hair on the fish we have ordered. In good German: not again, a certain amount of hygiene must be observed even without Corona. None of this could make up for the mediocre food either

We had a super tasty herring roll with a beer. Very simple food and very tasty. We will be back. Price performance is right.

We had a very nice place on the water with a great view! The food was very, very tasty and filling with a lot of fish. The staff was very friendly and happy to show me the best way to cut up my fish.

Apart from location, there wasn't much to be gained. Food slammed on the table without comment and immediately evaporated. The 3rd meal for our 6 year old daughter was 1st Klatt forgotten and 2nd the service was gone so quickly that you had to walk to the opposite restaurant to communicate this. The consequence of this was that a meal was almost cold by the time it was communicated. Since the children's meal came almost 15 minutes later, we adults were almost finished with the meal. In addition, a wrong supplement was delivered and apart from Oh no word of apology. The time has nothing to do with good gastronomy. One star is still flattered.

The "outstanding" characteristic is the poor service. By this we do not mean the service with a migration background, because that was very hard, but the boss personally. The food was good, but after a stressful week, we would like to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We treat ourselves to this and are accordingly disappointed when inadequate service spoils the experience.

We were at the Fish Temple for the first time with friends on Saturday evening. We were treated the same as regular guests and the whole turbot was recommended to us. This was a great recommendation! Great fish, very nice fried, tender skin and very tender meat. The fish was so good that the great fried potatoes and spinach almost got into the back. Greetings to the great cook Sandra, who is directing there. We would love to come back and look forward to next time.

Well, the food was okay. The waitresses did not wear a mouth / nose guard. When asked, it was only complained that you couldn't wear it for hours. At the end we had to write down our address, but only when asked. The mouth / nose guard was then worn for payment. Other guests had also pointed this out. All guests had mouth / nose protection on entering.

We have been really satisfied with everything for the last 10 years, today (29 May) for the first time: the rolls are no longer what they used to be. The service was great, the wine (Pinot Gris) still tasted ... maybe it has something to do with new suppliers, but if nothing is changed, I can get the fish sandwich somewhere else. Would be a shame.

I had an amazing dinner here. Our waiter was attentive, humorous and very knowledgeable about the fishes we were served. We tried the smoked fish platter, and it was delicious. Relaxed and welcoming ambiance, beer on tap and an assortment of fresh fish! Make sure to ask what the morning catch is, as it's not written on the menu.
